4 new distinctions at the “DLG Awards 2023” for EPIROS products

Four products of EPIROS, one of the biggest Greek cheese producers and distributors, stood out for their quality, texture, appearance and taste in this year’s DLG Awards.

In particular, EPIROS Original Feta PDO, EPIROS Organic Feta PDO and EPIROS Greek Goat Cheese all received the gold award impressing the judges, while the grilling cheese EPIROS Talagani, made from 100% Greek sheep and goat milk, won the silver award. It is worth noting that all these four products had also been distinguished in the respective competition of 2021 and 2022, keeping all their unique organoleptic characteristics unchanged over time.

The DLG Organization (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft) was founded by the engineer and author Max Eyth in 1885. Today, it is considered one of the leading institutions in the agriculture and food sector with over 30,000 members. Each year, DLG examines more than 20,000 products from all over the world and evaluates their quality, in collaboration with specialized experts from the scientific and academic field.
