For yet another year, EPIROS products have stood out internationally for their quality and taste, earning six new distinctions from two of Europe’s most demanding food evaluation institutions.
In Germany, at the DLG Awards 2026 organized by the German Agricultural Society (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft – DLG), EPIROS Original Feta PDO cheese, EPIROS Organic Feta PDO cheese, EPIROS Goat Cheese and EPIROS Talagani grilling cheese were honored with Gold Awards, following a rigorous, multi-stage evaluation process.
Likewise, in Belgium, at the Superior Taste Awards 2026 of the International Taste Institute (ITI), EPIROS Feta PDO cheese was once again distinguished with two stars and Epiros Talagani grilling cheese with 1 star, confirming their superior taste and the consistency that has characterized them over time.
In both competitions, products are evaluated through blind tastings (without packaging or brand identifiers) by gastronomy experts and members of the scientific community, based on criteria that include the overall taste experience and the distinctive characteristics of each product.
“These distinctions reflect our philosophy of consistent quality, respect for raw materials, and dedication to the authenticity of Greek cheesemaking.
